With the PRIME workshop a decision was made to support a workshop focussing on extinctions and their roles in evolution. Now also PRIME has its own unique icon again designed by the brilliant FAU Brand Office.
Preparations begin. IRATE will be holding its first small workshop at PalAss 24 in Erlangen. The “big one” will then follow in February. And, the PIs from PRIME will be present as keynote speakers!
With PRIME, we have found the next workshop for PaleoSynthesis. The application from Baran Karapunar (Leeds) and Bethany Allen (Zurich) was seen as having the greatest potential. We congratulate them on their successful application and look forward to working with them.

The PaleoSynthesis Summer School is coming to an end. The last two days are presented by Erin Saupe from Oxford University. Erin is teaching on Spatial Subsampling and Niche Modeling and was already part of the past two summer schools.
It continues, the last week Summer School has begun and Daniele Silvestro (University of Fribourg, Switzerland) has taken over the scepter. Topics are: PyRate and AI-based diversity.
